A third-generation business, Cape Cobra has blended the European craftsmanship of its founders, Lothar and Denise Schäfer, and now their sons and granddaughter, with the skills of 80 South African artisans to create a thriving business whose reputation is built on the meticulous manufacture of each exotic leather handbag, arguably each an artwork in its own right. Each piece is unique due to each skin having its own patterns, composition and scars which are preserved in carefully chosen and specific designs.
